VolumeBoost is a volume booster and sound amplifier built by people who got tired of every booster app on the Play Store being buried under banner ads, video ads, and paywalls. If you've uninstalled a dozen of them already, you know what we mean. This one just works.

FAST CONTROLS

→ Persistent notification with volume up, volume down, and power controls. Keeps the booster running when you close the app.
→ Two home-screen widgets: a compact 2x1 and a full 4x2 with quick mode buttons.
→ Detects what's currently playing (Spotify, YouTube Music, any music app) and shows the track with play, pause, and skip controls. Optional.
→ Shows your current audio route — phone speaker, headphones, or Bluetooth device name.
→ Hardware volume keys control the boost level when the app is open.

ABOUT YOUR HEARING

High volume, especially on headphones, can damage hearing over time. We ship with a soft volume cap you can adjust (150%, 175%, 200%), an auto-reduce option when you plug in headphones, and on-screen guidance when you push into the higher ranges. This is a tool, not a dare.

VolumeBoost works 100% offline. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no ads, no data collection, no servers. Your settings stay on your device.

This app was built by an independent studio that doesn't run ad networks or subscription funnels. If that matters to you, welcome.

DEVICE NOTE

Audio effects rely on Android's built-in audio framework (LoudnessEnhancer, Equalizer, BassBoost). Some devices and OEMs restrict access to system-wide audio effects. If yours does, the app will tell you transparently instead of pretending.
